Sitter Rates & Services

Pets N Plants is dedicated to taking great care of your little loved ones while you are away.

We presently provide Pets and Plants Sitting Services to the Northern Virginia and DC Metropolitan area

See services rates in full detail below.

*Service Rates are per visit and can vary based on your Pet and Plant specific needs.

*Sitters are equipped with face masks, face shields, gloves and sanitizers in order to perform services.

*Booking times for same day sitter services are from 6am - 9pm

*Overnight services are booked per day 

Same Day Sitter Services

Same Day services are for pet and plant parents away at work, school running errands, etc. 

and will be returning home the same day.

Pet Sitter


  • 1 Hour sitter time per visit.
  • Fresh Water Change & Feeding.
  • Cleaning litter boxes.
  • Giving treats.
  • Walking & Playtime.
  • Administering pill pocket, gel, cream or liquid drops medications, upon request.
  • Designed for Pet parents without plants.

Sitter Rates​ ​

Pet (Babysitter) Per Hour

  • Dogs $45 (for 1 pet per hr)
  • Cats $40 (for 1 pet per hr)
  • Small Other Pets $35 (For up to 2 ) 
  • $5 per additional small pet (Under 15 lbs)​
  • $10 per additional large pet. (Over 15 lbs)
  • Please note: Same Day Services are for Pet parents who are not leaving town and will be returning home the same day. I.e as in a Pet (Babysitter) 
  • If leaving town, overnight services are available. See Overnight services tab for additional information.

Quick Check/Drop in Visits

  • This is a q welfare check for Pets.
  • $35 Quick Check / Drop in per visit.
  • Fresh Water change Only.
  • Sitter time is 30 mins max

Plant Sitter


  • $45 per visit.
  • Up to an 1 hour sitter time.
  • Plant Watering.
  • Plant feeding, trimming, pruning and, re-soil of house plants, if needed.
  • Service is geared towards small indoor/outdoor gardens and house plants.
  • Designed for Plant parents without pets.
  • Please note: Same Day Services plant services are for parents who are not leaving town and will be returning home the same day aka a Plant (Baby sitter).

 Pets and Plants Sitter 


Pets and Plants sitter service is designed for parents who are in need of a same day sitter for both.  Again, same day services are treated as a babysitter service, where parents will be away for a few hours and will be returning home and will not be going out of town. 

Same Day Service Pets & Plants

Rates

  • $50 for 1 pet with plant services per visit
  • $5 per additional small pet. (Under 15 lbs)
  • $10 per additional large per. (Over 15 lbs)

Pets

  • Up to an 1 hour and 30 minutes of sitter time per visit.
  • Fresh Water Change & Feeding.
  • Cleaning litter boxes.
  • Walking & Playtime.
  • Administering pill pocket, gel, cream, or liquid drops medications, upon request.
  • Giving treats.

Plants

  • Plant Watering.
  • Plant feeding, trimming, pruning, and re-soil if needed.
  • Services are geared towards a one time/single visit.

Friendly reminder: Same day services are for Pet and Plant parents who are still in town and returning home the same day.

Overnight Services

Pets, Plants and House Sitting ​

Rates per Day​

Dogs $55 (For 1)

Cats $45 (For 1)

Small Other Pets $40 (Per 2 Pets under 5lbs)

Additional small pet: $5 (Btwn 5lbs - 15lbs)

Additional large pet: $10 (Over 15 lbs)

Service Rates Start on the first Start Date.

Please note: 

Overnight Sitters do not stay on property 

to perform services. 


An On Site Sitter can be requested as an additional service, upon request. See details below.

On Site Sitter Request​s


If you prefer to have your sitter stay at your home during the duration of the overnight service. 

A one-time $25 service charge added for an 

on-site sitter.


This is to solely designate your sitter for you for the entire duration of your requested dates of overnight services. 

Overnight Sit​ter Se​rvice Includes
  • Sitter confirms "Check In and Check Out" on the first and last day of overnight services.
  • Fresh Water Change & Feeding.
  • Cleaning litter boxes.
  • Walking, Playtime & Giving Treats.
  • Administering pill pocket, gel, cream or liquid drops medications, upon request.
  • Plant Watering.
  • Plant feeding, trimming, pruning and re-soil, if needed.
  • Small errands & Light Housekeeping such as: collecting mail, maintain cleanliness and disposal of recycling and garbage.
  • Home, Pet and Plant Supervision, Companionship and Security.
  • Follow up notes after ever visit.

There is a $35 Booking Reservations Deposit is due upon booking services.

The $35 will be deducted from your total amount due. 

House Sitting Servi​ces

House Sitting Services

House sitting services are available for those who do not own a pet or plant. 

 House Sitter checks on the home making sure all is well, brings in mail/packages and garbage/recycling disposal only.  


$50 per visit.

House Sitters do not stay overnight unless requested.


Holiday Services​

Holiday sitting services can be provided depending on availability. 

A $25 holiday service charge will be added.

Additional Information


Pets N Plants is dedicated to ensuring we are there for you to provide the best Pet and Plant sitting services and to accommodate each and every Pet and Plant request and need.


There will be an automatic halt to services and hold placed on any current or future booked accounts if full payment is not received prior to the first day of services.
